May 2018 we'll see the first research planting in Lancaster County Pennsylvania - only 20 years - more pictures to come.
1997 was the first time in the news & here with a real grass roots effort from many different activist and Citizens viable hemp seed was planted for research - 5 acre plots - 13 planted throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I had the honor of seeing it in person and pre planting at Rhodale Institute.
Thanks to especially Senator Folmer for perserving, Senator Judi Schwank - Representative Russ Diamond and many others in the Dept of Agriculture for maintaining common sense - no 10 ft high barb wire fences. Pennsylvania still has a State Store Mentality but people are voicing their opinion and using their voting power to make this happen sooner than later. Self cultivation rights must be restored to individuals to keep in check the greed factor when it comes to control of people and plants.
